Diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, may seem like a “trendy” concept; however, organizations have been engaging in this work for decades. In this introductory 3-hour training, participants will break down the meaning of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially as it’s applied to the workplace. Participants will discuss the importance of belonging and build perspective through demonstrated activities.

Finally, participants will learn how to apply DEI in the workplace through inclusive strategies. This foundational course is perfect for individual contributors, managers, and HR professionals who are eager and open to starting their DEI journey.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
  • Identify DEI’s importance in the workplace.
  • Apply inclusive strategies in the workplace.

Throughout the training, participants will:

  • Gain awareness and build perspective.
  • Engage in courageous conversations.
  • Learn new vocabulary along the way.
