Course Description

Performance reviews have the power to inspire growth, strengthen teams, and improve organizational performance—but only when done thoughtfully. Reviews that are rushed, unclear, or inconsistent can unintentionally damage trust, lower morale, and create legal risk for the organization.

Writing and Delivering Performance Reviews helps supervisors and managers approach this important responsibility with confidence and care. Participants will learn how to prepare meaningful written evaluations, hold productive performance conversations, and navigate challenges in a way that supports both the employee and the organization.

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Prepare documentation for performance reviews
  • Conduct performance conversations to enhance employee productivity, development, and engagement
  • Motivate an employee whose career development has reached a plateau
  • Respond effectively to common employee reactions such as defensiveness, blame, and apathy
